What’s missing in the church?part 2

In my previous post I listed some things missing in the church. In case you did not read part 1 of this post I will quickly review the first five things I listed. 1.The gospel 2.REPENTANCE 3. Holiness 4. Separation from the world 5. Pastors who speak the truth. For further explanation of these please go back and read part 1 of this post. Now we will move on with four more things missing from the church. This is not an exhaustive list but a list none the less.

The King James Bible- pastor Scott Ingram from omega Baptist church in white pine Tennessee said ” when churches switched to the modern versions morality started to decline in the church”. I do agree with this statement because the modern versions omit and change key doctrines in the word of God making it easy to have a loose attitude about the word of God. Aarons sons had a loose attitude about worship and God consumed them with a fiery death for it. With a little research as I have done you can easily come to the conclusion that the king James bible is the true word of God and the modern versions are perverse and heretical calling Jesus a liar, a sinner and someone in danger of judgement. Also most modern versions also attack the trinity by omitting 1 john 5:7 which is the strongest evidence for the trinity but was taken out by Wescott and Horts heretical Greek text. Scriptures to read: Psalm 12:6,7; Leviticus 10:1,2

Humility/teachable spirit- I have experienced this all over the internet when having discussions about doctrine and the gospel. People today are looking to get high on Jesus via experiences rather than bringing themselves low in humility to have a teachable spirit.Derek Prince once said “if you want to be high you must first bring yourself low” No matter how much scriptural evidence you share with this type of person they will always defer to their experiences rather than the word of God. We need to really pray for this type of person that the Holy Spirit will open their eyes to the truth. Scriptures to read: Psalm 25:9; Matthew 23:12; 1 Peter 5:5.

Biblically literate Christians- this is a real problem in the church today as Christians are content with reading a little devotional book with one bible verse at the top of the page. Devotions are not a bad thing but they do not take the place of strong bible reading. Devotions are a snack not the main course. I read at least a bible chapter or more each day and it literally takes about 10 or 15 minutes. If we don’t have that much time for God’s word then we should question how much we really love him? Derek Prince once said something that should convict every Christian. He said ” you only love God as much as you love his word”. JESUS describes himself as the word of God in John 1:1,2. This condition is not the fault of true pastors because they only feed the sheep once or twice a week. If a Christian is living this way they will be a weak and malnourished Christian. These type of Christians usually fall into religious deception. They leave traditional churches and flood into false churches like Hillsong, Elevation church and Bethel. If there are any true Christians in these churches they are stuck in perpetual infancy not like the Bereans who searched the word of God to see if what the apostle Paul was saying is true. If these Christians had any knowledge of doctrine They would not be drawn to these type of churches. So we need to pray for these baby Christians as well as the millions that are being led to Hell by these false churches. Scriptures to read: Hosea 4:6; 2 Timothy 2:15.

Christians who pray- bible reading and prayer is essential to the Christian who wants to grow in relationship to God. You can not do one without the other. If you pray and you feel like you have gotten your answer? You will not know if is the right answer unless you compare your answer with the word of God to see if they agree with one another? Otherwise the devil will appear as an angel of light and lead you astray. We must pray and read our bible and obey it to be in right relationship with God. Scriptures to read: 2 Chronicles 7:14.

In closing please read the scriptures I have provided in both posts about this subject as it will enrich your understanding of what I am writing about. Nothing I can say or explain can take the place of God’s word. So be like the Bereans and search the scriptures to see if there is truth to what I am saying. We need to pray for our PASTORS and leaders in our churches that they will not fear man and and stand for and speak biblical truth. We need to pray for our fellow believers that they will be lead by the word of God and the Holy Spirit. If you like these posts? Please share them. God bless you all. Scriptures to read: Acts 17:10,11.
