Proof of the Trinity

1 John 5:7 KJVS
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

There have been a lot of attacks on the trinity lately claiming it is not proven in the bible. While the word trinity is not in the bible It clearly points to the God hood of all three persons in the trinity. I will keep this short and sweet as this blog will be basically a brief bible study on the trinity. The trinity works together in approximately fifteen functions. Here I will only give two functions of the trinity. The trinity as God and the trinity as creator. If you would like to learn about the other thirteen functions of the trinity ? They are on page 312 of the book by Ray Comfort called ” the school of biblical evangelism 101 lessons”. This book can be purchased on Amazon. I highly recommend this resource. Ok so lets break out our bible and see for ourselves if the trinity is biblical or not?

The trinity- the father is called God (Philippians 1:2) Jesus is called God (John 1:1,14) the Holy spirit is called God (Acts 5:3,4) 1 John 5:7 KJVS-
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.(This is proof for the trinity as Jesus is also referred to as the word of God (John 1:1). The trinity creates. The father is creator (Genesis 1:1) Jesus is creator (John 1:3) The Holy Spirit is creator (Job 33:4). All three in the God head are creator (Genesis 1:26).

One final warning for trinity deniers. If you deny the trinity you are denying the deity of Jesus Christ and his perfect God hood. If you deny that the holy spirit is God you are teeter tottering in a dangerous place that could cost you eternity in Hell. Let me explain. Because the bible says that blasphemy against the holy spirit won’t be forgiven in this life or the next. It is the the only unforgivable sin that will deny you access to heaven. Matthew 12:31-32 KJVS
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. [32] And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
